Understanding the key components of ThingsBoard and how they relate to each other

ThingsBoard provides a flexible way to model your IoT system. For MClimate T-Valve integration, we recommend the following schema structure:

1. Device Profiles

Create a device profile named "water-valve" for MClimate T-Valve devices with the appropriate decoder function.

2. Devices

Register each MClimate T-Valve as a device with the "water-valve" profile, using the proper naming convention.

3. Assets

Create assets to represent buildings, floors, and areas where your valves are installed.

4. Customers

Create customers to represent different organizations or users who will access the devices.

5. Relations

Establish relationships between assets and devices, and assign them to customers.
